The Neutral Zone

The Neutral Zone exists between the Dark Forest and Elven Forest, south of the river and north of the mountains. This non-war zone is the result of a treaty between Elves and Dark Elves that came about in consequence of the mounting casualties during the Elf War and that strives to put an end to their constant frictions. Upon their agreement, the river of this area became the border between their territories, and the vicinity areas are designated as a neutral zone. Currently, there are guards posted at both sides, keeping unpeaceful invasions from either side at bay. 

On the western boarder, the bridge is guarded by Sentries Irene and Kathaway, both Dark Elves. 

A road through the Neutral Zone leads south to Gludio.
